Zond

Zond was a series of Soviet spacecraft developed in the 1960s and 1970s to explore the Moon and Mars. Built using modified ICBMs, they aimed to gather scientific data, take photographs, and test technology for future lunar and planetary missions. Zond spacecraft often launched on lunar missions, orbiting or passing near the Moon, sometimes returning with samples or images.
