Zoladex

Zoladex is a medication used to treat certain hormone-related conditions, such as prostate cancer and breast cancer, by reducing the production of testosterone or estrogen. It contains a synthetic hormone called goserelin, which works by initially increasing and then lowering hormone levels, helping to slow or stop the growth of hormone-sensitive tumors. Usually administered as a small implant(subcutaneous injection), Zoladex is given every one to three months, depending on the condition. By controlling hormone levels, it helps manage disease progression and can relieve symptoms caused by hormone imbalance.
