Zeta Herculis

Zeta Herculis is a binary star system located about 25 light-years from Earth in the constellation Hercules. It consists of two stars orbiting each other: a primary star similar to the Sun but slightly larger and more luminous, and a smaller, cooler companion. These stars orbit closely, completing a full orbit approximately every 34 years. Zeta Herculis is a useful system for astronomers studying stellar properties because its stars are relatively close and bright, allowing for detailed observations. Its characteristics help scientists understand star formation, evolution, and how stars like our Sun compare to others.
