Zero Emission Vehicles

Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) are cars and trucks that produce no tailpipe pollutants, meaning they don't release carbon dioxide or other harmful gases that contribute to climate change and pollution. Most ZEVs are electric vehicles (EVs), powered by rechargeable batteries, but some use hydrogen fuel cells. Because they emit no exhaust, ZEVs help improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They are an important part of efforts to move towards cleaner, more sustainable transportation, and many governments offer incentives to encourage their adoption.
