Zengi

Nur ad-Din Zengi was a 12th-century Muslim leader and a prominent military commander in the Middle East. He is known for uniting Muslim territories in Syria and northern Iraq to resist Crusader invasions. As the founder of the Zengid dynasty, he played a key role in strengthening Muslim resistance during the Crusades and laid the groundwork for further campaigns.
