Zegota

Zegota was a secret organization in Poland during World War II, formed to save Jewish people from the Holocaust. Operating covertly under Nazi occupation, Zegota provided false identity papers, hiding places, and other assistance to Jews facing persecution. It was one of the few organized efforts actively helping Jewish victims, risking their own lives to save others. Known as the Polish Council to Aid Jews, Zegota was made up of members from various backgrounds committed to humanitarian aid and resistance against oppression during one of history's darkest times.
