Yu's canals

Yu's canals, also known as the canal of Yu or canals of Yu, are small channels located within the kidney's cortex and medulla, part of the renal collecting system. They facilitate the transfer of urine from the nephron's collecting ducts to larger renal collecting structures. These canals help direct urine towards the renal pelvis for excretion.
