Youth Self-Report (YSR)

The Youth Self-Report (YSR) is a questionnaire that helps assess emotional and behavioral issues in adolescents, typically aged 11 to 18. It is completed by the young person themselves and measures concerns like anxiety, depression, aggression, and social problems. The YSR provides insights into how the youth perceives their own mental health and functioning, aiding mental health professionals, educators, and parents in understanding areas that may need support or intervention. It is part of a broader assessment system called the Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment (ASEBA).
