Youth in Care
Youth in Care are young people, typically under 18, who live away from their biological family because they are unable to safely care for them. This may be due to abuse, neglect, or other family issues. They are placed in foster homes, group homes, or with relatives to ensure their safety and well-being. While in care, they receive support, education, and services to help them develop and prepare for independent living when they are ready to transition out of care. The goal is to provide stability and positive opportunities during their formative years.
