Youth Build
YouthBuild is a community development program that helps young people, typically aged 16-24, gain skills through education, construction training, and leadership opportunities. Participants often work on building or renovating affordable housing in their neighborhoods, while also earning their high school diploma or GED. The goal is to empower youth to improve their futures and communities simultaneously, fostering personal growth, work readiness, and civic engagement. YouthBuild combines education, job training, and community service, acting as a pathway for at-risk youth to develop skills for meaningful employment and positive social contribution.
