Young stellar objects
Young Stellar Objects (YSOs) are early-stage stars still forming from clouds of gas and dust in space. As gravity pulls material inward, the star becomes hotter and brighter, often surrounded by a disk of residual material. Depending on their stage of formation, YSOs can be embedded within dense clouds (Class 0/I), have visible disks (Class II), or be close to reaching full maturity (Class III). They are important for understanding how stars and planetary systems develop over time, serving as snapshots of stellar birth.
