Young Plan

The Young Plan was an agreement made in 1929 that aimed to help Germany pay reparations after World War I. It reduced the total amount Germany owed and extended the payment period, making it easier for Germany to manage its debts. The plan also included provisions for international financial supervision, encouraging stability and economic recovery in Germany. Although it eased some financial pressures, economic difficulties and the onset of the Great Depression limited its effectiveness. Overall, the Young Plan was an attempt to create a more manageable and sustainable repayment system between Germany and its creditors.
