Yongsan Garrison

Yongsan Garrison was a large U.S. military base located in Seoul, South Korea, primarily used by the U.S. Army for logistical operations, training, and housing personnel. Covering extensive grounds, it served as a strategic hub during wartime and supported U.S.-South Korea military cooperation. In recent years, the U.S. and South Korea have been in the process of relocating most military facilities from Yongsan to other areas, aiming to reduce the American military footprint in Seoul.
