Yolŋu Arts
Yolŋu Arts is a collective of Indigenous Australian artists from the Yolŋu people in Northeast Arnhem Land. Their work encompasses traditional and contemporary art forms, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and storytelling that reflect their rich cultural heritage. Yolŋu Arts serves both as a means of cultural expression and preservation, conveying Yolŋu laws, stories, and connection to land and sea. Supported by a cooperative organization, it promotes Yolŋu artistry locally and internationally, ensuring the continuation of their unique cultural practices while fostering economic development and cultural pride within their community.
