Yemeni Revolution
The Yemeni Revolution was a series of protests beginning in 2011, driven by citizens demanding political reform, better living conditions, and an end to corruption. Inspired by regional upheavals like the Arab Spring, protesters called for President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s resignation after decades in power. Although Saleh stepped down in 2012, the country faced ongoing conflict, political instability, and humanitarian crises. The revolution highlighted Yemen’s deep social and economic issues, leading to a complex and ongoing struggle among various factions vying for control and stability.
