Yayoi people

The Yayoi people lived in Japan around 300 BCE to 300 CE and are known for introducing rice farming, metal tools, and new pottery techniques to the region. They migrated from the Asian continent and gradually replaced the earlier Jomon culture. The Yayoi established settled communities, developed social hierarchies, and laid the foundation for Japanese civilization. Their advancements in agriculture and craftsmanship contributed significantly to Japan’s economic and social development during ancient times.
