Yadava Dynasty

The Yadava Dynasty was a prominent Indian kingdom that flourished in central India from the 12th to the 14th centuries. Known for their contributions to art, architecture, and culture, they played a key role in shaping the region's history. The dynasty’s rulers, such as the notable Singhana II and Ramachandra, expanded their territory and supported Hindu traditions. Their capital was Devagiri (later Daulatabad), a stronghold of both military and cultural significance. The Yadava period is marked by vibrant temple architecture and a thriving society until it declined due to invasions and internal turmoil.
