Xiaflex

Xiaflex is a medication used to treat conditions caused by the thickening or tightening of tissues, such as Peyronie’s disease and Dupuytren’s contracture. It contains an enzyme called collagenase that breaks down collagen, a protein that builds up abnormally and causes tissue deformity. By dissolving excess collagen, Xiaflex helps restore normal tissue flexibility and improve function or appearance.
