Wu Pei-chen

Wu Pei-chen was a pioneering Taiwanese physician and politician active in the early 20th century. She was one of the first women in Taiwan to become a medical doctor and later served as a government official, advocating for women's health and education. Wu is recognized for breaking gender barriers in medicine and public service, contributing to social reform and the advancement of women's rights in Taiwan during a period of significant change.
