Worth's Four-Dot Test
Worth's Four-Dot Test is a visual assessment used to evaluate how well your eyes work together and detect suppression (when one eye's input is ignored). During the test, you wear special glasses with a green filter over one eye and a red filter over the other. Under dim lighting, you'll look at a fixed object, and three dots of light will appear—one green, one red, and one white. If you see four dots, both eyes are working together normally. Seeing fewer or overlapping dots may indicate suppression or ocular alignment issues needing further evaluation.
