WorldView-1 is a high-resolution Earth-observation satellite operated by DigitalGlobe. It captures detailed images of the planet’s surface, useful for mapmaking, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and defense. Equipped with advanced digital imaging technology, it can produce images with very fine detail, allowing users to see objects as small as about 50 centimeters across. Launched in 2007, WorldView-1 provides timely and accurate satellite imagery, helping governments, businesses, and researchers make informed decisions based on current geographic data.
