World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP)
The World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP) is an initiative led by UNESCO that evaluates global water resources, issues, and trends. It gathers data and produces comprehensive reports to inform governments, policymakers, and the public about water-related challenges, such as scarcity, pollution, and access. WWAP aims to promote sustainable management of freshwater resources by raising awareness and providing solutions to ensure clean, reliable water for all now and in the future. Its work supports international efforts to address water crises and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals related to water and sanitation.
