World Radio Conference (WRC)

The World Radio Conference (WRC) is an international meeting organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) where governments and industry representatives come together to coordinate the global use of the radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbits. Its purpose is to ensure that wireless communication systems—such as radio, TV, mobile phones, and satellite services—work efficiently without interference. The WRC occurs about every three to four years, addressing issues like new technologies, emerging communication needs, and spectrum management to maintain a seamless and fair global communication infrastructure.
