World Confederation of Labour

The World Confederation of Labour (WCL) was an international organization founded in 1922 that brought together various trade unions from around the world to promote workers' rights, social justice, and fair labor practices. It aimed to unite workers beyond national borders, advocating for better working conditions, fair wages, and respect for workers’ rights globally. In 2006, WCL merged with other labor groups to form the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), which continues to represent workers worldwide today.
