World Bank Inspection Panel
The World Bank Inspection Panel is an independent safeguard mechanism that allows people affected by World Bank projects to raise concerns or complaints. If communities believe a project negatively impacts them or violates agreements, they can request the Panel to investigate. Its goal is to ensure projects are socially and environmentally responsible, promote transparency, and address issues early, ultimately improving the accountability of the World Bank and its projects. The Panel acts as a watchdog, helping to protect the rights and well-being of those impacted by development activities financed by the Bank.
