Working Group I

Working Group I (WG I) is one of three divisions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is a United Nations body. WG I focuses on the physical science of climate change, assessing the current state of climate science, including the effects of human activities on global temperatures, weather patterns, and extreme events.
