Worker Rights Consortium (WRC)
The Worker Rights Consortium (WRC) is an independent organization that monitors and promotes fair labor practices in the garment and manufacturing industries. Established in 2000, the WRC works with universities, governments, and non-profits to ensure that workers in factories, especially those producing apparel, have safe working conditions, receive fair wages, and enjoy fundamental rights such as the ability to organize. By conducting investigations and advocating for policy changes, the WRC aims to protect workers’ rights globally and improve the overall conditions of labor in supply chains.
