Work Ability Model
The Work Ability Model is a way to assess how well a person can perform their job, considering their health, skills, and work environment. It looks at the balance between a worker’s physical and mental capacities, job demands, and available resources like support or accommodations. The goal is to ensure that employees are capable of doing their work safely and effectively while maintaining well-being. When there is a good match between a person's abilities and their job requirements, they are more likely to be productive and satisfied, reducing the risk of injury or burnout.
