WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction)
Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) are powerful and destructive devices that cause massive harm to people, environments, and infrastructure. They include nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. Nuclear WMDs release explosive energy through nuclear reactions, resulting in widespread devastation and radiation. Chemical WMDs utilize toxic chemicals to harm or kill living beings, causing severe injuries and suffering. Biological WMDs deploy pathogens or toxins to infect or kill populations. Due to their potential for extensive destruction and loss of life, WMDs are heavily regulated internationally to prevent their proliferation and use.
