WMAP Science Team
The WMAP Science Team was a group of scientists who worked together on the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), a NASA satellite launched in 2001. WMAP measured tiny fluctuations in the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation, the afterglow of the Big Bang. Their research helped determine the universe's age, composition, and expansion rate with high precision. Through their collaborative efforts, the team provided crucial evidence supporting the Big Bang theory and improved our understanding of the universe's history, structure, and evolution.
