Wisconsin Glaciation

The Wisconsin Glaciation was the last major ice age in North America, occurring roughly from 110,000 to 10,000 years ago. During this period, vast ice sheets covered much of Canada and the northern United States, carving out landscapes like the Great Lakes and shaping terrain through erosion and deposition. As the climate warmed, the glaciers retreated, exposing land and influencing current geological features.
