Wing
A wing is a surface attached to an aircraft that generates lift, allowing it to rise and stay in the air. It works by creating a pressure difference: faster airflow over the top creates lower pressure, while the slower air underneath maintains higher pressure, producing an upward force. Wings are carefully designed with special shapes (airfoils) to maximize lift and stability while minimizing drag. They also provide additional functions like housing landing gear and fuel tanks. Essentially, wings are critical for enabling controlled, sustained flight in airplanes.
