Winemaking Process

Winemaking is the process of turning grapes into wine through fermentation. First, ripe grapes are harvested and crushed to release their juice. The juice, along with skins if making red wine, is then fermented with yeast, which converts sugars into alcohol and other flavors. During fermentation, the wine matures, developing its character. For some wines, further steps like aging in barrels, clarifying, and blending occur. Finally, the wine is bottled, ready to enjoy. The process balances art and science, aiming to capture the unique qualities of the grapes and vineyard in the final product.
