Winegrowers
Winegrowers are professionals who cultivate and tend to grapevines specifically for producing wine. They manage vineyard health, selecting the right grape varieties, optimizing soil and climate conditions, and overseeing the care of the vines throughout the growing season. Their expertise ensures grapes develop the desired flavors and characteristics necessary for high-quality wine production. Beyond planting, they monitor for pests and diseases, prune, and harvest at optimal times. Essentially, winegrowers combine agricultural skill with an understanding of winemaking goals to produce the raw material—the grapes—that become wine.
