Windshield

A windshield is a large glass panel in front of a vehicle’s driver and passengers that provides visibility while protecting them from wind, debris, and weather elements. Made from laminated safety glass—a layer of plastic sandwiched between two sheets of glass—it is designed to prevent shattering into dangerous shards upon impact. Windshields also support the vehicle’s structural integrity and often house important safety features like airbags, sensors, and rearview cameras. Properly maintained, they ensure clear sightlines and safety during driving, and replacing a damaged windshield promptly is crucial for safety and compliance with vehicle regulations.
