Willem Alexander (King of the Netherlands)

Willem-Alexander is the King of the Netherlands, having ascended to the throne on April 30, 2013, following his mother, Queen Beatrix's abdication. Born on April 27, 1967, he is the first king of the Netherlands in over a century. Before his reign, he held various roles in public service and was involved in international organizations. As king, he represents the Dutch monarchy at official events, promotes national unity, and engages in social issues. Willem-Alexander is married to Queen Máxima, and they have three daughters, contributing actively to charitable causes and cultural initiatives in the Netherlands.
