Wild Turkey

Wild Turkey is a species of large bird native to North America, known for its distinctive fan-shaped tail and bare head. It inhabits forests, grasslands, and wetlands, and plays a vital role in ecosystem health as both a predator of insects and small animals and prey for larger predators. Wild turkeys are social animals, often moving in flocks, and are notable for their impressive courtship displays. They are also the ancestor of the domesticated turkey used for food. Despite their size, they are agile fliers and can run quickly to escape threats.
