Wild Boars
Wild boars are hardy, adaptable mammals native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa, but they have also been introduced to other regions. They are characterized by a sturdy body, coarse bristly hair, and prominent tusks used for foraging and defense. Omnivorous in diet, they eat plants, roots, small animals, and carrion. Wild boars play an important ecological role by disturbing soil and aiding in seed dispersal. However, they can become invasive, causing significant agricultural damage and competing with native species. They are social animals, often living in groups called sounders, and are known for their intelligence and adaptability in various environments.
