Wi-Fi positioning
Wi-Fi positioning determines your location based on signals from nearby Wi-Fi networks. Devices identify and measure the strength and timing of signals from Wi-Fi routers, then compare this data to a database of known router locations. By analyzing these signals, the system calculates your approximate position, similar to how your device "triangulates" your location using multiple signals. This method is often used indoors where GPS signals are weak, providing accurate and reliable positioning for navigation, asset tracking, or location-based services in places like malls, airports, and offices.
