WHO Building Blocks Framework

The WHO Building Blocks Framework is a model developed by the World Health Organization to improve health systems globally. It identifies six essential components that work together to provide effective healthcare: service delivery, health workforce, information systems, medical products and technologies, financing, and governance and leadership. Each block is interrelated, meaning the strength of one can enhance the others, leading to better health outcomes. By addressing these areas, countries can build stronger health systems that can efficiently respond to the needs of their populations and improve overall public health.
