White House Office of National Drug Control Policy
The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is a federal agency responsible for coordinating the U.S. government's efforts to reduce illegal drug use and its related problems. It develops strategies, allocates resources, and evaluates programs aimed at prevention, treatment, and enforcement. The Director of ONDCP, often called the "Drug Czar," advises the President on drug policy issues and works with other government agencies, states, and communities to address drug-related challenges comprehensively and effectively.
