Westfield Group was a global shopping mall owner and developer, originating in Australia. It managed and invested in numerous retail properties across countries like the US, UK, and Australia. Renowned for creating and operating large, high-quality shopping centers, Westfield aimed to provide enjoyable shopping experiences and attract major retailers. In 2014, it split into two parts: Westfield Corporation (focused on shopping centers) and Westfield Insurance (its insurance business), with Westfield Corporation later acquired by the shopping center giant Unibail-Rodamco.
