West Armenian

West Armenian is a dialect of the Armenian language spoken primarily by Armenians in countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria, as well as in the Armenian diaspora. It developed historically in the western part of historic Armenia and has distinct pronunciation, vocabulary, and some grammatical differences from Eastern Armenian, which is used mainly in Armenia and Iran. West Armenian has a rich literary heritage and has been preserved through religious texts, literature, and oral tradition. Although less widely used today, it remains an important part of Armenian cultural identity and history.
