Weighted voting
Weighted voting is a decision-making system where each voter’s influence is proportional to a specific weight, often based on factors like stake, expertise, or resources. Instead of each person having an equal vote, their "vote" carries more or less weight according to this assigned value. For example, in a corporation, shareholders with more shares have a greater say in decisions. This method aims to reflect the relative importance or contribution of each participant, ensuring that more significant stakeholders have proportionately more influence in the outcome.
