Weighted Sum Model (WSM)
The Weighted Sum Model (WSM) is a decision-making tool used to evaluate and compare options based on multiple criteria. Each criterion is assigned a importance level called a "weight," reflecting its significance. For each option, scores are given for each criterion, which are then multiplied by their respective weights. Summing these weighted scores produces an overall score for each option. The option with the highest total score is considered the best choice. WSM helps systematically incorporate different priorities, making complex decisions clearer and more organized.
