Web Payments Working Group

The Web Payments Working Group is a team of experts within the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) focused on developing standards to make online payments easier, more secure, and more consistent across different devices and platforms. Their goal is to create technology that allows users to pay for goods and services seamlessly within web browsers, reducing the need for multiple payment methods or complex checkout processes. This work aims to enhance the online shopping experience for consumers and merchants by fostering secure, simple, and universal payment solutions on the web.
