Weathermen
The Weathermen, officially known as the Weather Underground Organization, was a radical left-wing group active in the United States during the late 1960s and 1970s. They emerged from student anti-war movements and sought to overthrow the U.S. government, believing that violent action was necessary for social change. The group was known for its bombings, protests, and efforts to promote racial equality and anti-imperialism. Their activities reflected the broader countercultural and political unrest of the time, particularly in response to the Vietnam War and civil rights issues. Eventually, many members went underground to evade law enforcement.
