Wayland's Smithy is a Neolithic tomb located in England, dating back around 4,500 years. It consists of a chamber built with large stones, where ancient people likely performed rituals or buried their dead. Over time, the site became linked to legends—such as the belief that leaving a shoe could bring good luck or that a fairy or spirit might leave a silver coin in exchange for placing a shoe on the dolmen’s stones.
