Wax

Wax is a natural or synthetic substance that's pliable and can be melted or shaped when warm, then hardens when cooled. Naturally occurring waxes, like beeswax or carnauba, are produced by plants or insects as protective coatings. Synthetic waxes are created artificially for various uses. Waxes are used for making candles, polishing surfaces, waterproofing, and crafting cosmetics due to their ability to form a smooth, protective barrier. They are generally insoluble in water, resistant to heat, and have a low melting point, making them versatile in many applications.
