Water Dowsing

Water dowsing, also known as divining or diking, is a practice where individuals use tools like Y-shaped or rod-shaped sticks to locate underground water sources. Practitioners believe that these tools respond to unseen energy or vibrations associated with water, causing them to dip, sway, or react when over a water-rich underground area. While dowsing has been used historically for locating wells, scientific studies generally regard it as a pseudoscience, as there is no consistent empirical evidence supporting its effectiveness. Nonetheless, some people find it a useful guiding technique based on traditional or experiential knowledge.
